Desponia is a butterfly valve for on/off and control applications from -20°C until 140°C according to the material. Suitable for aggressive and abrasive media.
Centric butterfly valve with an elastomer liner, available as wafer, lug or U-section type. Depending on your application, the body, liner and disc material are determined to withstand specific working conditions.

Desponia® can be supplied with a cast iron or ductile iron body. The resistant body, the multiple disc combinations and the robust liner available in many different materials, make Desponia® a multi-purpose, modular and state-of-the-art valve with outstanding durability and resistance.

Liner materials: EPDM, Nitrile, FPM, Flucast®, CSM, ECO, Silicone, white and blue liners for food applications.

Disc materials: Rilsan®, Polyurethan, Halar®, PEKK, Ultralene Coating™, Nickel plated, Nickel aluminium bronze, Stainless steel, Stainless steel (Ra < 0.8), Super austenitic steel and Hastelloy.

The butterfly Desponia® butterfly valves meet the safety requirements of the pressure Equipments Directive 2014/68/UE (PED) appendix 1 for fluids of the groups 1 and 2.

Suitable to be operated in safety related systems according to IEC 61508 / 61511, Safety Integrity Level SIL 2.

Special versions of Desponia® valves may be used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
