The Oil and Petroleum Show serves the entire oil and gas industry by providing an effective networking platform for Oman’s oil and gas companies, stakeholders, policymakers, decision-makers, and energy professionals under one roof.
The oil and gas sector is responsible for much of Oman's economic growth and government revenue. Thus, changes in the industry tend to reflect greatly on the sultanate's overall development.The sultanate's premier oil and gas producer, the state-controlled Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) anouncedearlier this year that it intends to further increase production in the next five years.Attended by 350 exhibitors from 30 countries with 12,607 visitors, the show gathered natural gas service and technology providers, LNG companies, national oil companies (NOCs), international oil companies (IOCs), petrochemical and power producers from the Middle East and around the world showcasing solutions, discussing latest developments and directions of the industry.Enabling new trade and business opportunities among the local and international upstream companies. It also featured the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) conference which shared insights on diverse topics in Oman and the region, such as IOR, Gas and LNG as well as Offshore and Marine providing opportunities to explore new technologies, test innovative methods and share experiences.
Together with Wouter Witzel Euro Valves B.V. and our Agent Technical Supplies International, Muscat - Oman we showcased our Butterfly valve solutions from Wouter Witzel and Fire Protection Range from AVK at the show.
