AVK Solution

Beginning of 2010, AVK started working with the lead consultant Arup, and CAT International contractors for the selection and specification of the right Fire Hydrant for this project. The most important requirement of the client and consultant Arup was to have a Wet Barrel Fire Hydrant in bronze material with a rustic metallic look which should sink into the project’s architecture and building's look and finish. So, the hydrants served their sole purpose but also matches the design and aesthetics of the area around it.
In other words, a high-quality fire hydrant which meets the highest safety standard and looks fantastic too. And exactly so it did!

After a series of lengthy discussions, exchange of ideas and expectations followed by detailed presentations to the client Msheireb Properties, the consultant, and submission of technical documentation for review and acceptance, Team AVK was finally successful in getting AVK SERIES 24 Wet Barrel Bronze Fire Hydrants recommended for this project.

It was the relentless effort of both teams; American AVK, USA, and AVK Qatar that got AVK Series 24/64 in bronze material of construction fire hydrant approved for this project. This recommendation followed through all four phases of the project. During the construction phases from 2013/14 to 2019 AVK delivered over 120 Nos of the Series 24/64 Wet Barrel Bronze Fire Hydrants from American AVK, USA through various main contractors, MEP, and Fire Fighting Contractors who were employed for this project. AVK Qatar also supported each and every contractor in the inspection, installation, testing & commissioning of the delivered fire hydrants.
